IreneCare (“Irene Care Limited” or “we”) is an e-commerce platform (“the platform” or “the website”), that goes by IreneCare or irenecarewellness as it’s online user name. It is a source for high quality plant-based Ayurvedic & Regenerative products, designed to achieve optimal health and wellness.

The Services may enable you to post product reviews and other user-generated content. If you choose to submit user generated content to any public area of the Services, this content will be public and accessible by anyone.

The Data Protection Act does not prohibit the processing of personal data by third parties but requires that the data subject be informed of any third parties that may have access to their personal data and the safeguards adopted to ensure their data security.

Some of the third-party service providers we disclose personal information to may be based in or have servers located outside of Kenya. The third party that we often engage with and use for the provision of our services is DHL.

Third Country

Please note that information we collect may be stored and processed and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this policy. This may include outside the country you live in and to those that may not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the European Union Economic area, including the United States.

Your personal information is also processed by staff and third-party service providers and partners in these countries.

If we transfer your personal information out of Europe, we will implement appropriate contractual measures like the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or any equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK, as relevant, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed to provide any personal information to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

IreneCare will endeavor to keep your personal information accurate, complete and up to date. If you wish to make a request to access and / or correct the personal information we hold about you, you should make a request by contacting us and we will usually respond within  days;

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us;

You have the right to object to the processing of Personal Data;

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

XIII. Changes to our Privacy Policy

By using the Website, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Policy. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by placing a post regarding those changes the Website and/or by other means, as per our sole discretion.
